Love without
devotion is a waste: Sai Baba
PUTTAPARTHI: Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai
Baba has called upon devotees to realise true love and serve the needy.
Baba was addressing a huge gathering of devotees at Prashanti Nilayam here
on the occasion of Guru Poornima on Sunday.
Emphasising the importance of unity, Baba said: "Unity is very important
for the development of our country. India has the potential to become the
world leader provided everyone lives in unity. But unfortunately people
are busy hating each other, instead of living in harmony and unity."
Baba exhorted devotees to work hard to achieve their goals. A majority of
people are interested in preaching but not in practicing what they preach.
"Without hard work there would be no positive results. Tremendous hard
work was required for 'Suras' to get nectar from ocean. Initially they
received poison but it did not deter their determination. So people should
not worry about obstacles in their mundane life. If your thought, word and
deed are one, nothing can stop you from achieving your goal," said Baba.
